My family has had this for 50 years..the state just purchased it and wants to tear it down for the Marshall Megasite...I'm sick about it..my 90 year old mother signed the option with the state.. I was always told by my dad that the farm would be mine when I was growing up . We had horses, goats, chickens ,pheasants, pigeons, and sheep here when we had it. Had many events with boy scouts and girl scouts and loved Halloween parties in the barn..the Kalamazoo River is just a quarter mile walk down the lane..I have my special rocks and trees and know ever dip in the field to avoid while riding... dreamed of making this into a interpretive agricultural center and a preserve..The State of Michigan plans to destroy this but I plan to fight..The farm is life, it is my life and history and culture and Governor Whitmer is crushing it.
