2/12/19. This was the Housel One Room schoolhouse built first in 1868 and used until annexation to Leslie Public Schools in 1958. Then it became a home and bedrooms and a bath added with an upstairs. At some point after 1958 - any maybe after this picture in 1981, a huge garage was added to the house on the south side. It is not visible in this picture and I do not think it is there. This is a one acre plot, donated by Farmer Housel. There are now 37 mature trees on the lot. I have recently purchased it with plans to re-make it into a 3 bedroom home. Presently it is in rough shape and really just a shell.
Address now is 3011 Hawley
