This farm was built by Loyal and Edna Walker in the early 1930's after the original house burned.
They lived and farmed there until after their deaths in the late 1980's. They had four children but none of them wanted to continue farming it so it was sold.

Grew up next to this house, Lyle Walker and wife lived here, many years into the early 1980s. He told me once when he was a young lad, he put the shingles on our barn in 1917, next door.

Also, the homestead site appears to be from 1850s.
