Lawrence and Hazel Bestrom moved there 1950 with their sons, David, Paul, Harold, Gerald and daughters Garnet and Crystal. Lawrence farmed the 150 acres with his sons. Another son, Orlin and his wife Barbara with their daughter Esther purchased the tenant house across the street. He worked with his father and brothers until around 1958. Orlin and the rest of Lawrence's children except David and his wife eventually left the farm. David and his wife still live there today 2018. The barn and most of the out buildings are gone.
