Vernor Road. Most of this farm is gone. Owned by the DNR (state land). A barn or two and the house was burned in June 1991, donated by the DNR to the fire department for training. In 1990, it was decided that the house, built in 1874, and a couple of the barns were deteriorating so fast that it was going to be high maintenance to keep them up. DNR still owns and uses the property year round. Nearby land is a nature sanctuary, and hunting beyond that.
