West side of Clark Rd, just north of Dunham Rd.
North? Clark ends at Dunham.
Haha, must've been a late night. Yes, south of Dunham. Unfortunately, farm is gone. Now called Settlers Park.
It appears we share the same passion. Amateur historians, of a sort. A unique skill - it is pattern recognition, and virtually impossible to explain to others. My wife continually asks "How do you do this?". I remember things visually, so it's easy. You do the same. A small detail, a sign on a barn, the style of a roof or windows. It is always a "eureka" moment when, after studying a photo for several long minutes, you finally connect where something is. Then a sort of sadness settles in, knowing things will never be as they once were. I suspect you grew up in Hartland, close to 23 & 59. I was further up Fenton Rd, near Clyde.
Yes, that's it exactly. Sometimes it's months if I see a picture again and I realize where it is. I think about the history, and wish the great houses and buildings could have been preserved. But if anyone is looking, I'm happy to have written the location. I grew up on Clyde near Milford Rd, actually, we moved there in '71. So I vaguely remember the old farms looking this way. And yes, it is sad to see them all disappear. Now I live on Clyde again, so its a constant reminder.
