Johnny's Restaurant, Grant Grocery, and Moe's Hardware.

I used to eat at Johnny's as a child. My grandpa used to work for the owners in the restaurant and manage the motel next door.

It was sad when it was tore down. Now a car wash stands there.

Yes, the motel was Johnny's as well as the restaurant. Stayed in the motel quite a bit when we would visit my grandpa, who worked at the restaurant and managed the motel. The changed the motel into an arcade in the early '80s. I don't know what the building is used for now.

There is still a barber shop in the front of the motel, facing the highway. For years it was Baldy's Barber Shop owned by Al Baldus. Many of the various motel rooms are now offices for local business.
