It is the Martin Haselhuhn Farm - my Grandfather. He and my Grsndmother began building here after losing their home in The Metz Fire. My father, Karl, the youngest of 10 children lived hete his entire life. This is where he and my Mom, June raised 7 children and gave so many extended family members great memories. All of the buildings in the photo still exist - the white fencing is gone snd the pond bigger. The farmland has been sold but what you see with some acreage is now owned by the third generation. Us and our children still enjoy spending time there.
