This was my church when I was growing up. A new church was built across the street soon after this photo was taken, and then the old church was torn down.

I grew up at St. Peter and was 6 yrs old when the "new" church was built. I have a few, very fond memories of the "old" church. I remember learning songs in the basement of this church during Sunday School.

I spent all eight grades at this school with Lorenz Loesel as teacher for siz of those years and Rev. Walther was pastor at St. Peter's. I have some wonderful memories during those early years of my life. I am now 91 and enjoying life in .c
