This is the Laursen farm where Kresten & Linda Lauren now live in the larger home and their daughter Tabithia lives in the smaller home

A lot has changed, Kresten & Linda still live there, but no one lives in the little house. The buildings are painted a different color, some of the out building, corn cribs aren't there, but it will always be the place my brothers and I were born and raised.

This is where I and my two brothers were born and raised. My brothers later farmed the farm, with help from my dad as he got older. Today it looks much different, barn painted grey, not so many out buildings. It was a wonderful place to grow up and help with the farming, as I did before I was married.

Hi Loris,
What was your favorite thing to help with on the farm? Is the farm still in your family today?

Yes, the farm is still in the family. My favorite thing was driving tractor, on the baler, hauling hay/straw into the barn, working the fields. My nephew & wife live there in the big house.
