Hi Tandy, 

Thanks for getting in touch with us! The vast majority of our photos are scanned in from black and white film. We have some color photos from after 1998, but they make up a small percentage of our collection.

In other words, the way our photos appear on our website is how they're printed, except with much higher image resolution.
