Holy cow! That's the house I grew up in. Mom and dad built it 1971. My grandfathers house is on the left of the pic.
I have many great memories helping to plant and harvest the huge gardens on the right. The exact acreage escapes me, but I believe it was around 15.
Corn, potatoes, peas, various berries, veggies and several apple and pear trees were there.
Mom and dad still live there today.
The dirt road was paved and extended into a whole subdivison in '94.
My house, that we built in '97, would be off screen to the right.
