The Bowery still operating in 2021. Ford Road west of Haggerty.

This location began as a 24-hour Palace Restaurant mid-70s and sometime before 1980 the owner added a bar and it became "B.J.'s Bowery". Serving Canton for more than 50 years, it is now known simply as "The Bowery". There is a White Castle just to the east (left) of the Bowery which is also still standing. Notably, the "Twist & Shake" ice cream stand pictured at top right (small white building) was razed in 2022 and a car wash is currently being built on the site.
