This home sat on the south side of Ford Road, just west of Lotz Road. Built in the early 1960's, it was the only home in this area and as pictured, was surrounded by a large yard and lush forest. The construction of I-275 in this area began around 1972, and the impact to Ford Road traffic and development was immense. This once quiet farmland area became urban and the home was razed by the early 1990's.
The forest has now reclaimed this site and you can no longer even determine where the house once stood.
Approximately 40501 Ford Rd., Canton, MI 48188
