Originally homesteaded by Ole A. Peterson (possibly the brother of Peter Peterson) around 1880. In the 1910's it was owned by Fred Tobek, then Nels Sorenson in 1931, who rented it to John & Emma Sorenson. By 1950, Fred Hanson owned the land and continued to rent it to the Sorenson Brothers, then possibly Ordean Moen. By 1960, the farm had been purchased by my great-grandfather's cousin, Delroy Carlson. He rented it to Manville & Renetta Schliemann for many years, including when this photo was taken. Delroy and his sister Beulah owned the land up until they passed away, but the farm has been vacant since the 80's.
