This farm was homesteaded by the Geier brothers sometime before 1899, then it was owned by C.B. Clingman in the 1910's. By 1931 it was owned by Clarence Wiley, but rented to Alfred & Lydia Mathison (my great-great grandmother's brother). In the 50's & 60's, this farm was still owned by Clarence and then Gertrude Wiley, but during this time it was rented to Charles and then Norvin & Shirley Beachem. By 1976 the farm was owned by Ordean Moen and was vacant. It looks like the house is being dismantled in this photo. It has been vacant ever since, and only the grove and a silo remain.
As of 2019 this farmsite that my parents, O.C.Moen's owned, is now owned by the USFWS. The building are all completely gone. It will serve as cover and vegetation for all animals♥
