This farm was homesteaded by Martin Johnson around 1877, and was subsequently owned by B.F. Chaffee in 1899 and A.L. Moore in the 1910's & 30's. Moore rented the farm to Ernest & Elsie Hinneberg in 1931. By 1950 it was owned by Ray Corson and rented to Norman Haukos. By 1960 it was the Clifford & Lucille Thompson farm, and they still lived there in 2009.
