Likely homesteaded by Orrin Pencille around 1880, by 1899 it was owned by August Olson and known as the "Puud Farm". Adolph still owned it in 1931, but it was apparently vacant at the time. By 1950, Carl Olson farmed there, and he continued through the 60's. In 1976 the farm was owned by Curtis & Opal Olson, but I'm not sure if anyone lived there then. It still looks active in this photo at least. By 1999, Curtis still owned it and Brent Olson lived here, and still did ten years ago.
Adolph Olson was my great grandfather. He homesteaded a quarter mile away in 1880 and bought this part of the farm not long after. It's been in our family ever since and we've lived here since 1975
