This farm was one of the earlier homesteads in Otrey Township. The 1870 survey shows Mam Bailey living on this site, but then Andrew Amundson settled here about seven years later. Amundsons still owned the farm in 1899 but it many have been vacant then. Later Frank Swedlund owned the farm in the 1910's, and still did in 1931 when it was rented to Grafton & Verna Hallier. The Halliers owned the farm by 1950, but then sold it to Albert, Libby & Robert Reid by 1960. The Reids rented the farm to Gene & Avanell Jacobson throughout the 60's, and by 1976 the Jacobsons owned the farm outright. The farm was vacant by the 90's and was owned by Gordon Schuster for a time. Today, only one of the sheds and some trees remain here.
