Originally this was homesteaded by Hakon Peterson before 1899, and was farmed by Hakon Pearson (possibly same as Peterson) in the 1910's & 1930's. Peter & Edith Nolting owned the farm by 1950, and farmed there through the 60's. By 1976 the farm was owned by Oliver & Rosella Nolting (possibly Peter's brother, who farmed a couple miles east), but the farm was apparently vacant. Not sure who was living here when this photo was taken, but by the 90's Peter's son Donald owned the farm, and still lived there ten years ago.
