This was my Grandpa Orville Welling's farm. Located just 1.5 miles south of Big Bend. As of this date (May 18, 2018) the home still remains, along with a couple of smaller sheds. The big barn was replaced in the 1970s with a machine shed. The creek that runs under the driveway was called Cherry Creek. My Grandpa named his farm, "Cherry Creek Ranch". He worked so hard and raised his 3 sons on this farm. So proud to call this the "home place".
