This is the old Hamer farm that was on Elmer Kleven's bus route. I spoke with Larry Hamer back int he early 90's. He lived in LeMars Iowa then. Rudy Nelson bought the property and then Peggy and Don Vrieze built a new house there. The barn and silo are now gone.
We now own this property. It was always kinda sad to hear about the beautiful barn and huge oaks....they are both long gone now. It is wonderful to have this bit of history of our property.
