This is my family’s farm. My great-great grandfather homesteaded the land. My great-grandmother lived there until she passed away in 1995 (at 101), and my childhood was filled with happy memories of my great-uncles finding fun things for us kids to do every summer when we had family reunions on the farm. My great-uncle owns the property now, and torn down the old farm house and built a new house at the top of the driveway. The barn’s still there, but the other outbuildings were demolished.
