This is the farm that was located across the road and slightly north of the farm site we purchased in 1996. The plane is flying on the east side of the farm. Both the son and father died here. The son was electrocuted while welding. The father died not long after of a heart attack. The mother left the farm and moved to Fairmont. She had nothing to do with the place and would not sell it. It was pretty run down when we bought our place. There was furniture still in the house and clothes hanging in the closets. Kids would trespass there and the sheriff deputies would often be over there chasing them out. There were the stories of the ghosts of the father and son haunting the woods. When the woman passed away, the Brockman farm purchased the land and building site and completely removed everything. It is now an open field. Greatly improved our east view.
