I for Anderson and Tressie all stead lived here and worked th farm. My father and his twin brother and three other brothers and one sister grew up here. I remember catching minnows in the creek leading into the lake to the south, and had to flush them all down the toilet when they all died. There were also apple trees in that same area. A terrific watermelon patch was near the barn by the silo. I had fun with my cousins running up and down the hill behind the house, which was demolished last year.
