The church I grew up going to and I still miss everyday!!! My dad is buried there now and the church no longer stands.

Ellsborough Lutheran Church.
I was confirmed and married in this beautiful little church.
A few years after its 100 year anniversary, it closed and has since been taken down. The well maintained cemetery remains as a memory of many loved ones--gone from us, but never forgotten.

Hi Gordy, thank you for sharing the address and coordinates! Do you happen to have any memories from around the time the photo was taken in 1968? We love hearing stories from locals about what things were like back then! Or, have you noticed any changes to the area since then?

i only learned of it early 2000.i found out that my great grandfather homesteaded up the road and was a founding father of the church.i got to visit the empty shell of the church after the windows were removed and found cemetary listing which i gave to historical society in slayton.
