I did grow up here. I was 5 when my dad purchased this 80 acre farm in 1952. Dad lived there until his death in 2011. At the time of purchase, there was no garage attached to the house and the drive that you see on the left of this picture did not exist. The house had no plumbing so there was an outhouse in the back yard. The driveway was through the grove of trees back behind the machine shed on the right (which was also not there as it was all trees - great place to play house). Also, the machine shed to the left of the barn was not there. There was a very large tree just to the right of the barn with a water tank directly under the tree for the milk cows as well as an occasional horse/pony.
My grandma and grandpa's farm..oh what fun memories! Playing in the grove with my cousins, painting the out buildings and hanging out with family!
