1901 Bamber Valley Rd SW - Looking Southwest - Main house (hidden by trees) built it 1863. Structures on the lower left part of the property are log cabins that were moved to the site. With the exception of the barn, all structures still stand. You can see the old right-of-way for Bamber Valley Road/CR-8, which runs closer to the house. Thew newer roadway was built in 1959 when the bridge crossing the Zumbro rive was replaced. The bridge was replaced again around 2002 and the roadway widened once more.
