Clarence Carpenter home farm. Same family 1860's - 2015.
The white building to center left of picture was the Elmira country school. It was originally next to the Elmira Baptist Church. My Grandmother Patrica (Norton) Loftus student taught in this school. It closed sometime later and was moved to Clarence's farm in 1965. He used it for hogs. It is still in very good condition, as are the rest of the buildings on the farm.
