Farmstead of Michael & Marie Jorgensen and descendants. In early 1900s Michael & Marie Jorgensen emigrated from Denmark, acquired the land from the Great Northern railroad, then broke the sod, build a house, barn and other out buildings. They farmed the land until they retired. They had three children Eilef, Astrid and Evald. Evald Jorgensen & wife Thelma Lybeck Jorgensen continued farming until they retired. Evald and Thelma had two children, Connie and Dale, who grew up on this farm. After Evald and Thelma died the property was sold.
