The church steeple is a little shorter now.

Yes the steeple is gone. Sadly it is deteriorating quickly. The sanctuary is falling apart and the basement is in worst shape. My grandparents lived in the house next door and my father grew up there. I was baptized in the church (1952/3). My aunt and uncle also lived in the house and raised two children. The 1950's and 60's we visited the church, our grandparents, and aunt & uncle and cousins often. We spent most Christmas Days at Churchill. My aunt & uncle are gone now and the house is unoccupied (as least a few years ago). Many many memories there, and at the Buffalo Creek gravel pit, and a few close neighbors. Thank you.
