This farm was bought by Robert Ziehl in 1948. The open hillside center to left in photo was known as Ziehl's hill. In the winter children from Clear Lake would either walk or be driven by their parents to go sliding on the hill and skate/play hockey on the lake. The small metal building in the water was the warming house. It has benches and a big pot belly stove. I grew up on this farm.
