My great grandparents, Wilhelm and Bernadina Beuning, immigrants from Germany, purchased this farm in 1881. They raised 13 kids here. Their youngest George and his wife Ida took over from them and raised 8 kids. They retired from farming in 1964 but retained this place. A Minnesota Century Farm.
