This is the old Hubert Schmitt farm...my grandpa bought this farm in the 90's and rented the house to my aunt's family. I remember going to many family reunions and get-togethers in the big old farmhouse. After they moved out, it was finally abandoned around 2007 and most of the buildings (except the barn) have fallen down or been razed since then. Our family just sold it this past summer; the new owners are planning on building a new house here soon.
