This farm was bought by Frank Homan in the 1880s, the first house burned and the present house was built in 1892. The family lived in the summer kitchen while house was erected, summer kitchen is still standing. My father grew up here and I own the home now. There have been some modern amenities added to the house, but home still has the original wood trim and plastered walls. Most of the lumber used in the house is walnut. My husband and I owned this property in 1988. One of the most beautiful views in the county over looking Flat Creek bottoms.I have tax records going back to 1876 for this property.
