Photo 8-TST-27

Comments

This house was built in 1925 by W.M. Snodgrass, the barns were built in 1935 and the garage in 1940. I lived here for 6 years (it's a rental property now since 1997). The two small buildings, one behind the house and one to the south next to the small barn have been gone for a long time now and are just crumbled concrete slabs. The gate at the driveway has also been gone a long time but one gate post is still standing (on the left of the driveway)Both barns are still there but in pretty rough shape. The owner will not fix them. Nothing else from this picture, from what I can tell, has really changed. This is the oldest standing house on Silver Lake.
