Appears to be what once was Four Winds Farm #1 on Borton's Landing Rd in Moorestown. This was part of a string of 8 farms owned by Charles Collins of Moorestown. 3 farms were on this road, a forth on Fellowship Rd in Mount Laurel, #5 on Springdale Rd in Cherry Hill just across the Mount Laurel line. A 6th was on route 70 near Cropwell Rd and the remainder farther south on Springdale Rd in Cherry Hill. After world war 2, a Japanese American, Takashi Moriuchi, interred during the war came east to resettle and began operating these farms as Charles Collins scaled back. Some he rented and other he purchased. This farm is now the Laurel Creek Country Club. My dad was Tak's farm manager. When this farm was acquired in about 1963 there were still mules in use by one old fellow who preferred them for some farm tasks such as cleaning up broken limbs in the orchards. Rather than get off and on a tractor to move all the time, simple voice commands to the mules moved the wagon along and stopped for loading wood.
