We have lived here for 31 years and I remember the day a man stopped to arrempt to sell us this photograph. We took the barn down and put up a new one on the old foundation. The barn has housed dairy heifers and beef all these years. There are polebarn additions on each end. The area where the barnyard is has changed and is now surrounded by high tensile fence. Our garden is now to the right of the barn directly across from the house. The house has had three porches added to it and flower beds have been added to the lawns. A chicken house that cannot be seen because of the trees has been torn down and a pole barn was built to the right of the house. Fencelines have been changed and replaced by high tensile.Trees have been removed and more have been planted. Apparently, I could go on and on. Thanks so much for the trip down memory lane and the reminder of all we have accomplished here.
