Photo 107-KLS-1

This is where I grew up. The house is gone now. It was originally an old hotel for people that traveled up and down the Black River. My grandparents bought it as a bare farm shortly after my mother was born in 1929.

My parents farm. As my sister said the house is no longer there. It was used as a hotel before my grandparents bought it. Our parents bought the farm from our grandparents when they retired.

This where I grew up and where my parents are still currently farming. (My dad is Linda and Kathy's brother.) So much has changed. The "old" barn came down in 93. The house has been gone for a good five years now. There are several more structures and another silo. This photo was taken the year I was born so it's nifty for me to see this moment in time.
