This is where I grew up. Owned by James (JR) and Rita Brocklebank. It seems like it's earlier than 1984. My parents sold the house with 10 acres in 2001. I'm disappointed in the lack of care for the property. The barn is falling down and much of property is overgrown and unkept.
Current owner and love the place. Memories are funny as the barns were in rough shape and unusable when we took ownership - they were assessed at $0 value. Not even a lumber reclamation business wanted them so there was little to be done with them or the hay and manure that filled them. And what one person sees as overgrown, another sees as rewilding long and over used land with much encouraging and planting of native species. It is a haven for us as well as birds, pollinators, fireflies, and other nature that lives there. A different beauty but no less valid.
