In 1995, I spent three and a half months riding 18,500 miles all over this country on my motorcycle. Everyday for lunch, I would stop somewhere and order a bacon cheeseburger. Believe it or not, I lost 15 pounds on that trip eating a bacon cheeseburger everyday , because I always skipped breakfast, only ate a can of something-or-other for dinner, and the weather was very cold a lot of the time. I penned an article for a magazine about that trip, entitled, "In Search of the Perfect Bacon Cheeseburger," and the one conclusion I came to about the entire trip was, the absolute best bacon cheeseburger in 18,500 miles all over this great country, and having sampled over 100 bacon cheeseburgers, was had at Jenny Lee dairy in Arcade, New York.
