Heffner's Land of Food grocery store, the building was remodeled years ago and is now a church, off of N Main Street in Mocksville, Ken Dwiggins Dr now runs to the right of it, the steeple of the (I think Methodist) church across the street can be seen in the lower left of the photo. We bought our groceries here when I was a child. Hope to recognize more structures and post more comments.

Yes, Methodist. Before Heffner's built here, they were located across Church Street from the same Methodist Church. After Heffner's built the newer grocery store, Belk's moved into the old Heffner's site.

Yes this is now an auxiliary building for the Methodist Church. Yes, prior to this Heffner's was across Main St and across Church Street. That was Heffner's second location and also the second location for Belk's in Mocksville. Belk's had occupied the original Heffner location when they first moved, and then followed to the second location when Heffner's moved again. Original location was on the east side of the square, south side of Depot St, now a legal office.
