This house belonged to my grandparents, Marvin "Lump" and Louise Philyaw. Bertha and Fran took out the Memosa tree in the front yard and the pecan tree in the back yard. The tobacco barns were eventually sold. The plum trees are no longer there. After my grandfather passed away the land was cleared of all debris. Now there is nothing but the house and a small shop. My father lives there now.
Everything around hone is all gone. Just memories of times past.
