This is my grandparents' farm at Lamms Grove near Carthage, NC. My mother and her four siblings grew up here and my grandparents lived there until the early 1980s. My uncle inherited and still owns it. There used to be a red barn in the open space in the right hand side of the photo. The house looks very much the same except the shutters have been removed.
