Lewis Allen Esso Service Station located on Hwy 54 West of Carrboro/Chapel Hill NC. The Allen home was also located in the back of the store building. In addition to selling staple goods auto maintenance and repair was done in a garage located next to store. I remember going there with my Grandmother in the summer to have her push lawnmower serviced and the blade sharpened!
