This is where I grew up. It was my paternal grandparents property (B.F. Stutts and Flora Efird Stutts). We raised saddle horses and my uncle's family owned the pig barns at the back of the property. Most fields were used for oats, millet, wheat, and pasture land. The out buildings are mostly gone now, and the fields are mixed forests, some planted in pines with some mixed in wild brush and hardwoods.
