Poston elementary school on Kimberly road in Nelsonville Ohio, I went here in 3rd grade and my dad worked as janitor for a time, we would have lunch with him in summer and play on the play ground.

I went to kindergarten here in 1975. My teacher's name was: Mrs.True. We would go to the gym, once in awhile, the walk seemed to take forever & I remember having to walk from one end of the building, through the cafeteria where the high school aged kids were. They would stare, point, laugh etc. at us. We would play with a huge parachute with a kick ball, on scooters, or just run around. We all had a kindergarten graduation ceremony, complete with a diploma. I wore a full length prairie style (think "Little House on the Prairie") gown and was very proud!
