Yes i remember going there with my mom and sometimes my sister Deana and are friends we always had a good time but not when there was fighting going on that's when we left but sometimes we stayed and got some food. We all had fun.I miss those fun nights.

I remember the Wagon WHeel in the 70's and 80's. The propietor at the time escapes me but he was his own best customer and his wife was asian and actually ran the place. I think his name was Earl Wallace.

yes I remember it well. It takes me back to my childhood.

The sign on the building in this 1966 photo reads, "Carter's". The building in back is Drab Ford.

Used to be owned by Bob Spicher and operated as Carter's Truck Stop during the late 60's & much of the 70's. Had pumps in the rear and a cashier's shack on the back part of the restaurant. I worked there in 1970 for $1.00 per hour cleaning up.

My stepdad use to take me there to eat when I was about 5 and older . Grew up around the Carter's truck stop. Miss it.

Looking for picture of route 9 humble/Exxon station in st clairsville ohio
