The original Line family farm granted for service in the Revolutionary War to Captain Benjamin Line. He was one of the first settlers in Butler
County, OH in 1792. The farm extended to the Miami river and is now part of Butler County Metroparks. Benjamin Line is my 8th great grandfather
and is buried in the first Baptist cemetery in Butler County located on the corner of the farm.

I grew up in the next farm down the road but spent lots of time playing on this farm. Both farms were owned by the same person but rented out. Henry
Case lived here and he and Jim Gorman farmed this property, 9750 and the Gorman farm in Evendale. The Jim Gorman Farm is currently a not for profit
working farm that educates people on farming practice. At this farm they raised pigs, grew corn and hay. There were hundreds of little pigs in the spring. The buildings have sadly all been torn down.
