Cox Mansion
I am related to the man who built this. He was a 2g cousin. Many stories about this home, as well as its demise.
My grandfathers family built the Cox Mansion and he grew up there as a child. I loved to go there as a kid and I was fascinated by the staircase. Over the years it became uninhabited and it was burned.
The staircase you mentioned, was it a spiral staircase that you would have to hug the wall to climb. You see I was only there one time the that was in the summer of 1969 I think (that was such a long time ago).
